Wilson also writes about her various university positions and her time spent teaching in Brazil. Eva D. Wilson was born on August 8, 1905 in Ogden, Iowa. She attended the Iowa State College, graduating in 1927; completed her master's work, as well as a dietetic internship, at the State University of Iowa in 1928; and earned a doctorate in nutrition at the University of Chicago in 1934.
